STARPLUS Digital Key Telephones
Fully digital architecture extends both digital voice transmission and system control to STARPLUS Digital Key Telephones. The 612 supports up to 6 lines and 12 stations. The 1428 supports applications requiring up to 14 lines and 28 stations. The 2856 is designed for larger applications requiring up to 28 lines and 56 stations. The 4896 supports up to 216 Universal Ports (96 CO lines maximum). The STARPLUS Digital Systems are fully compatible with STARPLUS Digital Key Telephones and industry standard single-line telephones. Single-line telephone ports also provide an interface for answering machines, fax machines, modems, off-premise extensions, cordless phones and voice mail systems.
STARPLUS Digital Key Telephones
There are four models of STARPLUS Digital Key Telephones from which to choose:
  • Basic - The Basic model has 14 buttons for accessing features and CO lines.
  • Enhanced - The Enhanced model features full Speaker Phone operation and includes 34 buttons for accessing features and CO lines.
  • Executive - The Executive model has all the capabilities of the Enhanced model plus a 48-character interactive display.
  • PC Interface Telephone - Executive model with built-in CTI serial port.
Basic Enhanced and Executive STARPLUS Digital Telephones are available in these designer colors: Charcoal Gray, Light Gray, Burgundy. All models are available in Off-White.
Variety and Efficiency
Many sophisticated features are standard for STARPLUS Digital Key Telephone Systems. Features like attendant recall, one-touch call transfer, and station hunt groups are fully programmable to provide customized call processing. Flexible button programming and station speed dial are user programmable. Name in display, message waiting, call forwarding, camp on and conference improve station user efficiency.
Communication costs can be reduced with least cost routing and programmable toll restriction. Enhance system management with station message detail recording and on-line system administration. STARPLUS Digital Key Telephone Systems include integration for auto attendant and voice mail systems. The integration is complete with message in box indication, direct mail box access, and station forward to mail box capability. Many more features are ready to implement and require only that the system users activate them.
Feature Application Highlights
  • Caller ID Integration - Caller ID Integration enhances call handling by combining telephone company Caller ID data with system call processing. Caller ID features include Incoming Caller ID Display and PC Interface which passes Caller ID data to PC software applications.
  • Off-Hook Voice Over - Off-Hook Voice Over allows busy executives to have screened calls announced without interrupting their existing calls.
  • User Select Distinctive Ringing - User Select Distinctive Ringing allows each station user to select a unique ring for their key telephone and for specific CO lines (WATS lines, local lines, internal calls, etc.).
  • Trunking and Networking Support - Trunking and Networking Support includes capabilities such as Direct Inward Dialing (DID), and T-1 service.
  • ACD - Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) is optionally available to provide enhanced call management and facilitate the handling of heavy customer call loads with optional statistic reporting.   • Call Coverage - Call Coverage allows users to cover co workers' stations with Call Coverage Buttons. They can determine at a glance whose phone is ringing and answer accordingly.
