sophisticated communications features previously affordable only to large corporations.
AltiWare OE fully supports recognized industry standards such as TAPI and MAPI. This
allows you to leverage today's most powerful Computer Telephony applications. Because
functionality is predominantly software-based, you can add features through software
upgrades, rather than the replacement of expensive hardware components. Just click on
feature links below for more details.
Full Featured PBX
AltiWare OE includes the switching capability found in legacy PBX or key phone systems,
plus much more. It's really not fair to call it a phone system, because even its
standard features leave other systems trailing behind.
Automated Attendant
Auto Attendant may be used primary or secondary to a live operator. After hours, it can be
used to relay company information or allow callers to direct themselves to a specific
user's extension voicemail. Users can to access their voice mail and numerous other
features using the Auto Attendant.
Voice Mail
AltiWare OE provides extremely robust and easy to use voice mail capability. With
traditional phone systems, adding voice mail generally requires connecting a separate
voice mail server or adding special cards to the telephone system. AltiWare OE includes
built-in voice mail service for virtually an unlimited number of permanent or guest users.
Automatic Call Distribution
AltiWare OE comes with Workgroups and Call Queuing capability for informal call center
applications. Until now, this functionality required a separate and very expensive add-on
for most phone systems. AltiWare OE supports up to 32 workgroups, with up to 64 members
per group. When no one is available in a workgroup, calls are placed into queue and
distributed on a first available member or round robin basis. Callers can be played up to
five separate messages, at a selected interval, while they are waiting in queue. If a call
sent to a phone goes unanswered, it will be sent to the next person in that group. If callers don't want to wait in queue, they have the option of transferring out to the operator or to voice mail.
While on hold, callers hear
either music or a sequence of recordings. Whether you have 3 people or 80 people,
Workgroups and Call Queuing will help you handle your incoming calls more efficiently and
provide customer service on par with Fortune 500 companies.
Internet Integration
Use a Web browser to access and change phone settings and message options from anywhere,
at anytime. AltiGen expands telecommunications through the Internet to provide solutions worldwide.
Messaging
AltiWare OE also provides electronic mail capability for organizations with LANs
installed. Since Internet e-mail standards are supported, you can send and receive voice
and e-mail messages using any SMTP/POP3 e-mail client.
Open Architecture
Because AltiWare OE supports industry standards, you can expand functionality with third party applications as your needs grow.
System Administration
Easy-to-use windows interface and automatic configuration features make AltiWare OE a breeze to administer.
